Did you know that around one in every nine babies born is born premature or sick?
Having experienced the issues, concerns and anxieties associated with premature birth, having had my own twins prematurely, the Winnicott Foundation, a charity that improves care for premature and sick babies, is an organisation I really believe in.
Last Thursday, 17th November, was World Prematurity Day, a series of events and campaigns organised to raise awareness of this important issue to ensure that those who go through what I have and, indeed, worse scenarios, receive the proper care, attention and support.
In order to support this important cause, I designed two bracelets (above) to raise money for the Winnicott Foundation. Fifteen per cent of each sale will go to the charity.
The sale of one white-gold-heart bracelet could buy specialist clothing for four premature babies, whilst the sale of one diamond-heart bracelet could buy five hand breast pumps to help mothers provide milk for their babies or three gel pillows to reduce pressure on fragile heads.
For further information, please contact Yumi@mmmanagement.com for press enquiries, or email@example.com to obtain additional details for the bracelets.
